The last few election cycles have shown us that people vulnerable to manipulation with disinformation and conspiracy theories can make extremely dangerous voting choices. The worst thing that can happen now is for nefarious schemes of persons and/or organizations being given free reign to contrive false and dangerous narratives through AI to radically influence and alter the results of future elections.
