I feel it’s important for more transparency regarding SWAPS as I’m concerned they are being used as a means to hide securities fraud. They also allow a financial entity to overburden themselves with risk beyond possible regulatory maximums and therefore pose a threat to our entire financial market. As the naive like to say, if you’ve got nothing to hide, you’ve got nothing to worry about.
