It's shocking that the CFTC even questions the need for more, not less, transparency by all listed entities to the CFTC. Yes, transparency takes resources and may be perceived as some as burdensome. Isn't that the point? One only has to look at the reported $80T, yes trillion, worth of unaccounted swap derivatives to conclude the absolute necessity to regulate behaviors and bookkeeping that damage a free and open marketplace. Shame on you for allowing this abuse to be so out of whack with your purported mission thus far. Fix it, and fix it now! Thank you for the opportunity for the average Joe citizen to weigh in.
