Dear Mr. Kirkpatrick,
Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the CFTC's RFI on climate-related financial risk. This Comment is being submitted by Climate Advisers, a Washington, DC-based policy advocacy and technical assistance organization that advises companies, investors, and countries on climate risks and strategies to protect and enhance climate ambition. Our work includes a particular focus on forest conservation and sustainable land management globally, in order to prevent deforestation that is linked to trade in high-deforestation risk commodities.
