I was thrilled to see the way kalshi contracts are handled. For years my investments have gone into a pot I did not control, and I understood how insiders were able to hedge their bets and make money during transitional times. However, those methods were inaccessible to me. Now, I can buy contracts on the price of gas leading up to a long work stretch, or measure the pulse of the public and determine how their perceptions will affect the political landscape. Kalshi has enabled me to realize benefits from changes in power. I would rather do that than engage in futile arguments about the morality of politicians and their parties.
