Hi there,
I want to tell you about my passion for election prediction markets. Some Americans have a deep passion for current events and keeping up with the political climate. I've always been intrigued by the power structures of my own government and I'm especially consumed by this during election season.
I've been able to make some money on the side of my rigorous course load by successfully "putting my money where my mouth is" with regards to political outcomes. This has made it easier for me to focus on school and my passions as it has made it so I haven't had to work a job while taking classes.
My opinion is that at the end of the day, my money is mine to do with how I please as long as I am not in violation of any laws and as long as my actions do not negatively impact others. I get both intellectual enjoyment as well as financial benefit from participating in election prediction markets, and the fact that there is potential financial gain to be had keeps me orders of magnitude more engaged in our country's political machine than if I didn't have access to these markets.
Please consider the thoughts I've laid out here before you make your decision on Kalshi.
