To whom it may concern,
I would like to voice my support for political events related contract trading. I use these markets as a very valuable insight into what the "wisdom of the crowds" is saying. This is a very valuable guide to my invsting behavior. For instance I have advised colleagues on student debt payments based on the implied probability of a candidate winning. I have advised colleagues on investments into environmental technology based on the implied probability of a certain bill passing into law.
I view these markets as very important indicators that add a lot of value to events that are inherently uncertain. I hope that you will consider this value when it comes to their regulation.
