I believe transparency is one of the foundations of free markets. As a retail investor, I oppose any actions that are not in the spirit of transparency and institutional integrity. I oppose any actions that will not increase transparency and reporting standards.
What I do support is stricter reporting standards that are required more often and more promptly. I support transparency and integrity in our markets. I believe there should be substancial financial penalties for those that fail to meet these standards. Substantial to the institution, not to the average individual.
