    Comment Text:

As a 21 year old in our democracy, it is not often that I feel my interests and the interests of my age group are communicated in political processes. To be frank, CFTC Chairman Chris Giancarlo is the only political representative to have ever represented my interests so wholly and accurately to the extend that I felt warranted my explicit approval and praise. His sentiments on cryptocurrencies and their potential regulation were based in open-mindedness, concrete evidence, and with our nation's interests at hand. It is easy to misrepresent the facts, cherry pick victims cases, and make arguments for or against many aspects of this unchartered territory. I felt that Chris Giancarlo's statements cut through the fluff and made a broad argument as to what this unchartered territory actually is and its broad scope: something necessary for informed decision making. In my opinion, he deserves praise for this.
