Dear Sirs:
Please devise a means to prevent the speculation in oil futures that causes price volatility and much higher prices at the gasoline pump. Ignoring or postponing action shackles the U.S. economy.
I was dismayed that your "rule" in October was "stayed" for a year because of industry pressure. What about the welfare of the greater number? Shouldn't public policy be set for the greater good, instead of narrow economic interests?
