Dear Mr. Stawick:
Please do not delay the enactment of the Dodd-Frank Bill. Between the
high cost of home heating fuel and gasoline my family is suffering
greatly. We try to conserve as much as we can, but supply and demand is
not driving the fuel prices up; unregulated speculation is. For over
twenty years fuel prices remained relatively stable until Congress allowed
Wall Street to speculate on oil. Americans are already under a great deal
of economic stress; postponing this bill for a year would add greatly to
it.
