New Proposal
The new 10:1 margin proposal being considered by the CFTC is outrageous. It would force
many, if not all, small investors out of the market or at least force them to look for brokers off
shore. Considering the state of the U.S. economy, it would be unwise and foolish to force
investment money out of this country and into the vaults of other countries.
I am certain that many investors and brokers see this as an affront to the investing
community as a whole. It is a very bad and inconsiderate idea that should not be entertained
any further.
