I am a working professional, and a single mother. I make a decent salary - but because of the poor economy in my hometown, I must commute into Cleveland 5 days a week to earn my living. I have a newer vehicle that gets good gas mileage - but with these high gas prices, I am wondering how to afford my commute. Without it, I will make no living, will not be able to provide for my son or myself, and will be required to go on government assistance. I cannot understand why the government would prefer this to be my fate, as opposed to continuing my independence. The US Government foots the bill for these high gas prices in the end, we all do. Please push back against the oil speculators - for me, and the other citizens like me, that are simply trying to make a living. It's needed now more than ever. I am doing my part for this country, supporting myself and paying my taxes. Now I need the government to do their job, to keep this artificial inflation from spreading, and to bring it down from where it currently exists.

    Thank you.
