    Comment Text:

This country is burying itself alive. The constant increase in gasoline is causing all of our life sustaining materials to be out of reach for more and more citizens. This is creating a burden that is beyond belief to the everyday working class person. I am a single, sixty year old woman that is sinking right now and I do not have any huge debt. A home that is very simple, a car that is far from extravagant. My only luxury is seeing my grandchildren that are 20 miles from me. I am constantly reconfiguring my budget to see if there's anything to cut out and I am at the bottom with nothing else to cut. All while oil companies are living off of my need for gas and taking full advantage of it. How do these people and our government live with themselves. I am sure they have not been touched negatively by all of this-they are making record gains!

Please look at the everyday people that have to chose between food and gas, or utilities and gas. Give us a break, please.
