I watched Mad Money this evening. I wondered if there an organization that was to oversee the futures market and the answer came during Mad Money tonight. History has a way of repeating itself. Just as the real estate market imploded under the watch of the FED and it was complicit in the world economy collapse. The CFTC will be watched closely because we (Americans) know that the current cost of gas and oil is not based on supply and demand. It is based on speculation from hedge funds that have the cash to make the purchase and sell it before they will ever touch the oil. They are middle men that have caused this country to hemorrhage money to these practices. If the CFTC acts quickly to provide responsible over site of this market if may be able to curtail a close look at the agency. Otherwise there will be trouble for those at the top. If you do not act to regulate then you are not worth keeping and should be dissolved! You budget would be better spent for something else.
