    Dear Sir/Madame:

The Dodd-Frank bill was passed to limit damages to the US economy and ordinary citizens. Part of the bill addresses the need to rein in profiteering in the commodities market. By stockpiling oil, cotton and other commodities used in everyday life, speculators drive the costs up for everyone. I hope you will do your part in limiting purchases of grains, oil and other commodities Americans rely on in their daily living. We are sick and tired of being victims of greed that benefits a handful of people in this country. We understand that it is immoral for people in disaster areas to jack up the price of water and other necessities and have passed laws against it. It is equally immoral for speculators to attempt to gain control of a market segment, such as oil, when this country's economy is a disaster.

    Thank you for your attention.

    Sincerely,

    Priscilla Garrett
