Dear Commissioners:
I am requesting that the Commodity Futures Trading Commission enact and enforce measures, as per Congress' directive, to limit the excessive trading by speculators in the food and energy markets. This activity is causing out of control pricing for basic needs and resources, further debilitating our weakened economy.
What is the Commission's strategy and timeline to address this issue?
