    To whom it may concern,

...if that's anyone. Frankly, I know I speak for countless others when I say we are sick and tired of speculators controlling prices. The price of oil drops yet the price of gasoline moves downward very, very slowly. Yet, even the shear thought of a crisis/situation in the mid-east and oil prices and then gas prices soar out of control hand in hand. This practice has got to stop or at least be much more controlled. The current administration is struggling to find a economic plan or even to get the GOP to buy off on the proposed plan - yet the easiest and quickest way to put money back in the pockets of the American public is to control speculation. In-turn, this extra money gets put right back into our struggling economy. It's time someone decides to be part of the solution instead of just allowing the problem to continue. I can assure you that at this point - almost all American could care-a-less about their party affiliation and who actually comes up with a plan - we just want the non-sense stopped. Speculation trading has created wealth for few while leaving EVERYONE else short-changed in many facets of our lives. This simply has to stop. Where have our American values gone? They have been sold and dealt away by our leaders.

    Regards,
    Anthony S. Meeks
