I am writing as a concerned retired veteran.
the cost of commodity based items has skyrocketed from profiteering traders who short sell or bid up futures contracts. these practices cause retail price changes that are significant and whats worse hurt producers as well as consumers because supply and demand is not what is driving price.
please stop entirely or drastically limit speculation on necessary commodities items working families must buy retail.
it is nothing short of allowing gamblers to run the market place and thats not fair to americans.
