Never in the history of this country has our government and its commissioned bodies been so out of touch with the American people. We need to stop Lobbyists from manipulating how regulations are managed, so as not to benefit Wall Street monopolists. You have been tasked with a Job and that is regulate commodity futures and option markets in the US. The deregulation of the Commodities exchange is further exacerbating an already struggling US economy. You need to step up and stop speculators from interfering with the price of food and energy. It’s your job to stop listening to Wall Street lobbyists and to finally take the appropriate measures and impose meaningful position limits.
As a working class American, it’s getting harder and harder to put food on the table, and much of that is because of the lack of regulation and oversight in the commodities market. I am asking you to step up, take a stand and do the right thing for the American people.
