It is time to stop speculators from interfering with the price of food and energy. You, commissioners, must stop listening to Wall Street lobbyists. Impose meaningful position limits.

I have been unemployed for ALMOST TWO YEARS. I am 62 and was FORCED to draw early Social Security just to have some income. This reduced SS is peanuts and I am suddenly at poverty level. Many Americans are in these same predicaments. We CANNOT AFFORD HIGH PRICES FOR FUEL, CLOTHING, UTILITIES, FOOD, ETC. We cannot even afford health insurance and are barely able to keep a roof over our heads...and hope we can continue to do so. Listen to the consumers/Americans! Stop listening to Wall Street lobbyists. Stop speculators from jacking up the high prices consumers CANNOT, CANNOT, CANNOT afford.

Wall Street and Congress are the American consumers enemies. You must fix these problems so Americans can have the necessary energy for their homes, afford to eat and businesses have affordable energy to conduct business. Business needs to flourish. Americans need jobs. Your committee CAN DO MUCH MORE TO HELP AMERICA - and stop the greed and damage of the Wall Street speculators.
