    Comment Text:

    Commissioners:
I am formally requesting that you place a control on the purchase of commodities by speculators who never take delivery of the actual products. If they purchase oil or wheat for example they must have storage space and take control of that commodity. When that happens and these speculators have to pay for the storage of items they are trading, they will think twice before they make the purchase!
Our prices of everything we consume are going through the roof while you seem to turn a deaf ear to the plea's for your intervention. Could it be that you are in bed with the traders who make millions on commodities that they never lay a finger on??!!
We the People of The Nation are paying for a FTC that should be working for our best interest, not the highest bidder for your attention. It is a blatant conflict of interest to be meeting with, and discussing regulations to come with, the group of traders whom you are paid to govern!
Act immediately to stop this practice!!
    Sincerely,
    W.F. Durfey
