The futures speculation on basic commodities is killing me and my family. It gets harder and harder to be able to afford to eat, buy gas(to go to work), and basic bills like power and water. It is my understanding the the wild rise in prices is directly attributed to 'futures speculation'. That's not a real part of a free market economy. The free market model indicates the end users set prices via demand and willingness to pay. When the speculators drive the prices for basic need items food fuel etc and the derived items associated with the raw products it hurts basic Americans like myself and my family. I am tired of having to tell my 3 daughters no we can't because someone 1000miles away decided for me what I am going to pay for a product.
Stop this insanity. Help your fellow Americans, you know the 'majority' that cannot stop them. You can and have an obligation to act on our behalf. Not the behalf of the deep pockets that appear to be calling the shots.
