I am concerned about the ability to manipulate the commodity markets through the speculation allowed with the Commodities Futures Trading Commission. The original intent is to provide stability to both the providers for the price of their goods, as well as the buyers so that they can plan on the cost of their goods. It has turned in to another place for speculators to make enormous profits and at the same time causing unnecessarily high prices for the consumer.
It is time for the commission to consider the impact on the end user as their first priority.
