Dear Commissioner,
I am writing today about the situation with regard to oil futures trading. I believe that the margin requirements are way too low, and have been way too low for years, to prevent oil speculation which puts us all at risk -- our entire country and perhaps even the entire world. I urge your office to protect the public from this risk by increasing the margin requirements for purchasing oil futures. There is just really no good reason not to do so, other than to protect oil speculators.
