Leverage Restriction
Dear Sir/Madam,
Im am a fulltime retail trader in the UK and have recently heard of plans to change US Forex
leverage for retail traders to 10:1. Although this does not effect me directly yet I feel the need to
forward my view on the matter. Changing the leverage down to 10:1 will put a high percentage of
successful fulltime retail traders out of work. It will also simply cause the remaining traders to seek
offshore accounts which is neither good for the US economy. Although I am merely a small fish in a
very large pond I hope my view is taken on board with the thousands of other trader that think the
same. Please think carefully about this as I feel it is the large banks that need to be restricted not
the average retail day trader.
