rather than amending any bill that has the names of franks or dobbs on it, it should be voted out completely and common sense bills be voted into place. the federal govt should not be in the business of forcing banks and lending institutions into making bad loans that force bad business decisions in the derivitives market. Fix fannie and freddie and stop the madness that led to the financial meltdown in the first place.
