The financial services industries, hedge funds, banks and Wall Street have practically destroyed the nation's economy with manipulative, deceptive, speculative schemes which have no benefit for the country as a whole and are simply for personal enrichment. These activities do not create wealth, and produce nothing of value. Naked credit default swaps should be banned immediiately and all these institutions should be regulated for the public interest only. Deregulation has failed and it's time to put an end to it.
