We urge the CFTC to put in place the strictest standards for mandatory clearing of all derivative contracts. We also favor higher margin requirements. We understand well the difference between legitaiate hedging for end-users and speculation by particularly institutional investors . Many should have longer term investment horizons and therefore, position llimis should be imposed on such long -only speculators in all commodities , especially food and energy.
