These banks should not be supported at all with taxpayer money. The FDIC uses taxpayer money to support losses incurred by these banks. This should stop. They should have to post bonds to guarantee deposits if they are going to gamble with our money. If they are earning enough to pay their executives millions in salaries they can afford to post bonds to cover our deposits. Force them to take risks with their money not ours. Taxpayer money should not go to support the rich elite in our country and the world.
