As a small investor in the precious metals I request that you take long overdue steps
to prevent the buildup, on the part of any investor or group of investors, of such concentration
of positions which permits the manipulation of the price of the commodity.
I'm referring particularily to silver where it has become general knowledge that there has been
no enforcement of position limits, esp on the short side, thereby allowing certain big institutions
to illegally manipulating the price of silver to the downsize.
As you delliberate this issue, please vote to establish position limits on silver contracts
to approx 1,500 contracts or 7,5 mio ozs. Also, please make these limits effectively immediately,
or as soon as practical thereafter.
