In spite of Wall Street advising the CFTC not to establish speculation limits on food and energy prices, it is essential they should do this if price bubbles, such as occurred in 2008, are to be avoided.
Exemptions should only be given to farmers or other businesses which deal in physical commodities, but definitely not to hedge funds, banks or other speculators. It is people's livelihoods which are being played with.
