I'd like to see the commission force institutions that take large positions to publicly justify their positions. In other words, I'd like JP Morgan, in the current situation, to publicly explain why they keep taking large positions against the silver market, whose silver they are using to back those positions, and why these positions are good for JP Morgan's shareholders.
I would also like the commission to explain what's taking so long to act where silver market manipulation is concerned. The problem has been well documented since 2008, yet the CFTC appears to be largely sitting on its hands. Even this particular request for comment seems more like a delaying tactic than anything else.
