Commissioners:
I would like to submit my opinion concerning the proposed position limits for derivatives, to the effect that limits in the neighborhood of 1500 are more appropriate and entirely necessary. Though it may seem a mundane and relatively insignificant point, it can be argued that standing the ground on this issue fundamentally determines the character of our society and the substance of our moral standing. As you are all in the best position to perceive and understand all of the various implications of this issue, we place our faith in you to act according to your conscience-- may it mete that which is just and fair.
