Please approve the proposal on position limits, but adjust the portion for silver. The current proposal would give a limit of over 5,000 contracts to any one individual. This is 25 million ounces of silver, which is much too high to have any meaningful effect on market manipulation through concentrated short positions.
Instead, please create a position limit of 1500 contracts for silver. How this may affect existing large entities with well-known large short positions should not be a factor.
