Dear Chairman Gensler and fellow Commissioners:
I urge you to approve the staff’s proposal on position limits, except that the proposed limit is set too high. Why set the limit at 5000 contracts? Why not 10,000 or 20,000 or even 50,000? The 5000 limit would be like setting the speed limit on our roads at 200mph. It defeats the purpose of having a limit.
Please do the right thing and institute a 1500 contract (7.5 million ounce) position limit for silver.
