Dear Chairman Gensler and fellow Commissioners:
I recommend tighter position limits on speculators and limiting exemptions to bona fide hedgers in the silver market. I think a 1,500 contract position limit is a good number to insure a liquid market and prevent larger speculators from controlling pricing in the silver market. All bona fide hedged positions should be verified to determine the extent of their exemption.
Please institute a 1500 contract (7.5 million ounce) position limit for silver.
