Dear Chairman Gensler, dear Commissioners,
There is no legitimate reason for limiting exemptions to bona fide hedgers. The current formula would result in a position limit of over 5,000 contracts for any single speculator, on an all-months-combined basis. This would serve only as a fig leave as an excuse, but would not address the underlying problem of influence on prices.
Please institute now a 1500 contract (7.5 million ounce) position limit for silver.
