Newedge USA is pleased to submit the attached comment letter in connection with the CFTC request for a comment relating to the protection of cleared swaps customers before and after commodity broker bankruptcies: RIN 3038-AD99.
As discussed herein, Newedge USA feels strongly that the current customer (off set model) relating to the protection of individual customer collateral should be extended to cleared swaps activity.
