    COMEX Investigation
    Good Morning,
Thank you for this investigation into ComEx shenanigans. It appears
to be more sincere than previous ones.
I have been watching with slightly decreasing dismay at the sordid
state of futures trading in precious metals and energy. We need,
    urgently, three reforms:
    1. Position limits
    2. Accurate and timely reporting
    3. Proper identification of "commercials" (bullion bank speculators
    do not qualify)
And, of course, after rules have been set at reasonable levels, they
need to be enforced. We need sanctions. "Honored in the breach" is
    no honor at all.
Kicking the can down the road will only make things worse. Sooner or
later, we have to confront this issue. We cant do it five years ago,
but we can do it this year.
    Thank you for listening.
    Bill Sanders (small, private investor)
    Best regards,
    Bill
