On April 24, 2017, CFTC staff participated in a teleconference with a representative from ICE Trade Vault. ICE, along with CME and DDR, jointly submitted a comment letter (“SDR comment letter”) in response to the Commission’s Notice of Proposed Rulemaking published on January 25, 2017 in the Federal Register. The Comment period for the Proposed Rule closed on March 27, 2017. Discussion at the meeting focused on the contents of the SDR comment letter. Staff sought additional information regarding implementation schedules and technology requirements.
