    Re: Confusing fx email
    Dear Matthew,
Thank you for the prompt reply. I take it that you are confused re these emails because it shows the sender's address in the "to"
field. This is a deceptive practice often employed by spammers. These emails arrived in my in-box because they were addressed to
    me at [email protected]
When the recipient opens the in-box, the sender's name appears in the "~o' field instead of the
    recipient name.
I would like to know how Zaner acquired my private email address since this email is not available anywhere on the net except in my
comment paper to the CFTC. I would also like to know why Zaner is engaged in spam emailing traders to promote off-shore
brokerages, using the CFTC reference numbers as a marketing ploy.
Here is another email received by another trader, from Mike Keene in your company, regarding the dealer Currenex - ( ~
    www.forexfactorv, com/showpost, ph p?p=3569349&postcou nt=785 )
"Hm, I got an unsolicited email from a "Mike Keene". I looked him up with the NFA and he's an AP with the Zaner
    Group.
    This was in the email:
Was currenex the platform you requested?

It seemed suspicious, because I have nothing to do with Currenex. Interesting way to do business."
Thank you for looking in to these matters Matthew. If Zaner Group has been retained by the dealers to engage in spam marketing of
traders submitting comment to the CFTC, this is a matter of some concern that requires further investigation. Retail traders need to
have confidence that when they liaise through the channels provided by a government agency for the submitting of public comment,
that the CFTC will not itself be drawn into becoming a source of deceptive or exploitative marketing practices. Retail traders need to
have confidence that their interests are being protected by the very agency charged with that responsibility and not exploited by
unscrupulous marketers seeking to take advantage.
    Kind regards,
    Sharon Glen

    Dear Mr Stawick,
I am forwarding this and another email to you for investigation. It appears that whoever sent this has been collecting email
addresses from the CFTC's Retail Forex comment file register. I will also forward it to Joseph Trevisani, at Fxsol.com in the US for
    him to also follow up.
This kind of behaviour is unethical and misrepresentative - the subject heading appears related to the CFTC's registers yet it has
nothing at all to do with the CFTC. I have not opened either link, having a concern that there could be a security risk attached.
Please attend to this matter immediately.
    Regards,
    Sharon Glen.
