I am happy to see the proposed changes and fully support increasing the limits for speculators. This is a very important issue as the industry has evolved. Hedgers on the long side of live cattle are virtually non-existent, and the only way to keep the live cattle contract a reliable price discovery and hedging instrument for cattle producers is to allow more participation by speculators on the long side. I applaud CME's efforts to address this situation and strongly support the proposed change.
