I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post my comment on the Agency's inability/ refusal to use Dodd-Frank as it was intended to protect citizens from the abuses of market speculators who drive up the price of gasoline, but I want to remind you of your stated mission ... “Our duty is to protect both market participants and the American public from fraud, manipulation and other abuses.”
If what the speculators are doing to the price of gasoline isn't market manipulation I don't know what is ... And, to add insult to injury they aren't even required to actually OWN the commodities they are trading for a period of time before they manipulate the market. The fact that this Agency lets them get away with it is shameful.
