Barring the reinstatement of Glass Stegall, the Volcker Rule, though it may not be perfect, is a welcome regulatory instrument.....
Especially so from a small, independent investor/trader perspective...
(Consideration to expanding oversight to other financial institutions, fund management, electronic trading platforms, online brokers, would be timely, appropriate and commensurate to contemporary economic change. Traders with diplomatic immunity are particularly irksome)
