I have seen it before in communist country
    Dear Madam/Sir,
You may just ignore this email as thousands or hopefuly hundred thousand similar emails. But that
would mean your existence should cease as in democracy the administartion is to listen to cirizens and
their wishes not to rule them.
At the moment I live in UK so your proposal on de-leveraging of retail accounts doesn't affect me now.
However a populist ideas have a dangerous tendency to spread as a flu.
Could you please explain me, what are the retail traders have to do with global crisis ? is theirs (in
majority) minuscules accounts are able to tip the balance of world's largest economy ? I thought United
States of America is a land of economical freedom and provides its citizens an opportunity to join level
playing field. Looks like its not in reality.
Besides every retail trader is taking their own risk, they won't cry for a public funds if they got margin
call, it will be their not regulatory body's fault. I know I pose an endless questions and I know you will
struggle to deliver a logical and appropriate answer as there is no logical background to support such a
decision. I have lived in a communist country (Poland) for years, I have seen apparatchiks and their
ways. Generally they thought society is made of idiots who can believe that free market is an West born
evil and its better to decide for them what is better. The results you can still see visiting this countries
and watching historical tv channels. I can't see justification to take away small dreams and kill
initiative.Maj ority of retail traders are trading for beer money, acquiring a knowledge about the markets,
developing their discipline and meeting others. This is all their activity is about. Why do you want to
push them away and decide for them ? Do you think we are small children and you better take away a
dangerous toys. I think it's true what my grandfather used to say about socialist and communist: if they
can't understand something they got scared and will try to control it. I hope you will have a civil courage
to answer at least one of my questions. Hope you will get a common sense back.
    With regards anyway
    UK based retail trader
