Silver Short Positions
Dear CFTC,
I want to thank the Commission for the opportunity to comment on the issue of extreme position limits for
precious metals.
I want to urge you to establish a reasonable speculation position limit in COMEX Silver. That limit should
be in the neighborhood of 1500 contracts. An elimination of/or restriction of any hedging exemptions from those
limits is most encouraged or at least be limited to legitimate hedgers.
Please stop the extreme levels of concentration in COMEX silver futures that have been pervasive over
the past several years on the short side of the market.
