Proposesd change in Leaverage for Retailer forx Traders
    John Glennie.vcf
    Dear Sirs
    Re
As many of you are aware, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced on
January 13, 2010 that it is seeking public comment on proposed regulations concerning retail Forex
trading. As part of the proposed regulations, it is stated: "leverage in retail forex customer accounts
would be subject to a 10-to-1 limitation," which means 10:1 leverage would be the maximum amount
allowed for all Forex traders in the U.S.
Although I do not live in the USA I have the following opinion for your consideration
This type of meddling in a free market can only hurt the business reducing both the income, employment and
    tax collection
Many thousand of people will loose their income should your changes be implemented.
There are so many examples of over regulation having a negative outcome on economic output and growth
I strongly urge you to allow the purchaser to measure and determine the risk return ratios that they are willing
    to take
    Kind regards
    John Glennie
