Dear CFTC Comments:
While the thrust of this impending ruling is toward derivatives it is time
for all regulatory agencies, Congress, the Administration and the American
people to recognize this essential truth: That the American economy
belongs to all Americans and that what any one individual does, whether
under the legal cover of incorporation or not, affects us all. We have
not just the right but the responsibility to insure that we control and
focus the capitalistic energies which can only create great wealth when
those energies are directed in ways which insure that all participants in
creating and maintaining wealth are treated fairly and compensated
according to their efforts.
