Their OTC nature and the challenges of cross-jurisdictional regulation further exacerbate these concerns, while the potential for systemic risk underscores the need for caution. If these instruments were to be integrated into stock markets, robust regulatory frameworks would be essential to mitigate their potential harms and protect market integrity. As a retail investor I would rather there be less manipulation and more transparency.
